David Miniki - A local pastor from East London, South Africa, David set out on a 40 day fasting journey that would take him to three continents and eventually land him in the living room of Rick and Janet MacDonald on the final day of his fast, to deliver the message the Lord had entrusted David to carry. OUR PROPHETIC HISTORY
June 13, 1998:
"Even if you don’t consider yourself a visionary, you will become one. It’s not the strategies you are to be concerned about, the Lord has the strategies. The important thing is that you, as one called to this, understand what is happening. To be able to fulfill this call, the Lord says, “The visionary must be a pioneer. He sees a vision to build a city, he does not go to a city or village that already exists because that is someone else’s city. Instead, he goes and finds a forest and in the middle of a forest begins to fell trees, enough to build one house. That one house is a lonely house, a lonely road leads to it; but WITH PERSEVERANCE OF FAITH A CITY IS BUILT. The name for this city is “The man behind the vision.” In the case of the one who has prayed and heard the Lord’s vision and made it his own, and gone out in obedience to that vision, the encouragement is that the center of this vision is the Lord of life Himself. All that matters is that you go about things exactly as He tells you — when and where He tells you — that YOU WILL KNOW THROUGH PRAYER, AND THROUGH PRAYER YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH IT. You will know because you will know Him. As you know Him, you will know His heart, His purposes, His agenda, His pain and His concerns and you will know your part in it."
Rick Wright - Pastor of The Gathering Place in North Hollywood, California, Rick has had and continues to have a great impact on the prayer movement, and prophesied this over Rick MacDonald at a pastors gathering at Harvest Rock Church in Pasadena, California:
September 6, 1998:
"And the Lord says, “The Ark of the Covenant is an inheritance that I have given you. There was a hunger in your heart, maybe a lack of understanding, but a hunger there and therefore you’ve found the Ark of the Covenant—you’ve found what they’re all searching for. I’ve brought that covenant to you, your wife your church, and you’re being careful. Carry the Ark on your shoulders and take it back to its rightful place—right in the center of the church. I’ve made you like a Levite to bear the Ark, to bring it back out of the hands of the Philistines, and bring it back into Zion, back into the house of Worship—TO THE HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL NATIONS.”
